FALL TESTING
On Thursday, October 8th, we will give the PSAT 8/9 to Freshmen and the PSAT/NMSQT to Sophomores and Juniors. Seniors will conduct learning activities at home on this day. We highly recommend that students consider using free test prep resources ahead of test day. There are sample questions and a full-length practice test available through the Bluebook app on your iPad through Self Service.
On Test Day, you will log in to the Bluebook app on your iPad with a Test Ticket. For now, you can log in to your existing College Board account if you have one. You may have created one in the past for an AP Course or other weekend testing. If you have never created one before, you can create your college board account here ( This is optional). A personal College Board account gives you access to various College Board programs and services. You will need a College Board account to register for weekend SATs, to view and send scores, personalize your web experience, or use certain tools on their site. And, if you're an AP student, you'll use your account's email and password to access AP Classroom. Note: You should set up your account using a personal email address (such as Gmail), not your school BSD email.

Your testing room for October 8th will be sent to you and your parents or guardians via your school email and Infinite Campus the day before the test. The National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a great opportunity for all Juniors to be connected to scholarship opportunities. Juniors, please be sure to answer the demographic questions on test day so that you are eligible.

All regular Board of Education meetings are held on Tuesday evenings, beginning with a Closed Session at 5:30 p.m., immediately followed by Open Session at 6:00 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings will take place at the District Administrative Center, 515 West Main Street, Barrington, Illinois. All Board meetings are live-streamed on the Board's YouTube channel.

Barrington High School is thrilled to announce our fourth annual Career Expo! We’re excited to continue expanding the event, to accommodate even more opportunities for our students. The expo will offer students in grades 8-12 the chance to explore various career pathways, engage with industry experts, and gain insights into the skills required for their future careers. This year we will have folks representing a wide variety of career pathways including finance and business services, health sciences, dentistry, human and public services, agriculture, food & natural resources, manufacturing, engineering, technology and the trades. Plus we will have all of the CTE teachers representing their pathway and the classes they offer.
