As we look to wrap up the semester, we wanted to allow all classes to wrap up and to re-emphasize the importance of attendance. Students should be physically present on these days for all rostered classes. The only periods students do not have to be in the building are for lunch or a scheduled open period.

ALL classes will meet to wrap up the semester in a way that aligns with the curriculum and expectations for the course. For example, Physical Education classes will meet, and students will participate in BFit activities and complete a check-out process. Resource classes and Academic Support classes will also meet to provide support to students in wrapping up the year. Some classes will have assessments,  exams, or other academic work to complete.

Bell Schedule

In case of severe weather, the capstone schedule may be moved up to 12/16

I love being a part of the Barrington High School community because I am able to support our outstanding students throughout their high school journey! As a Counselor, I am excited to see how my students pursue their individual goals through the wide variety of options that BHS has to offer in and out of the classroom. Dana JoyceCounselor

Barrington 220 offers students of all ages the opportunity to discover their creativity in fine arts. I have the wonderful opportunity to see students in the district from kindergarten to high school grow in all aspects of fine arts and see them shine.  Susan BuerckholtzFine, Visual & Performing Arts Facilitator

My favorite parts of BHS are the classes and the community. There are endless opportunities to create and explore future career opportunities. In BHS-TV there are so many different ways to get involved in the school and the community. Kevin HigginsStudent

My favorite part of my job is watching the transition that occurs in our students from freshmen year to senior year. I am lucky enough to watch this growth and maturity while guiding them a bit along the way. It makes me proud to be in this profession and be a part of the Barrington process.Barbara BarreiroLife Skills Department Chair

Barrington 220 is a place where students establish the fundamentals to forge their own paths. We read, write, think, discuss, and create. As a current faculty member and proud graduate of Countryside, Prairie, and BHS, I look forward to working with students every day to create the next generation of thinkers, learners, and creators. There's nowhere else I'd rather teach. I'm proud to work in Barrington 220 and I'm glad you're here.Cary WaxlerSocial Studies Teacher
