Barrington 220 is excited to announce the launch of College Now!

This two-year program, in partnership with Harper College and Districts 211 and 214, will offer BHS students that enroll the opportunity to walk across the stage at BHS Graduation with a high school diploma and an associates degree from Harper!

How does it work?Beginning in Fall 2026, juniors that apply and are accepted into this program will spend half their day taking courses at BHS, and the other half taking courses at Harper. Senior year will be primarily spent in classes on Harper's campus, with the ability to take a class or two back at BHS. During both years, students will have the ability to participate in clubs and extracurriculars both at BHS and Harper.

How much does it cost? The overall cost of the program is $1,000. That's $250 per semester for four semesters of classes. The fee covers college coursework, support services, textbooks, and program materials.

When is the application deadline?

Applications must be submitted to Barrington 220 by Wednesday, October 15.
